Come, come to the table

Come, come, awake, awake, listen, listen to me

And delight in the feast of the Lord

Everyone has a seat at he table,

Listen, give ear to them. Do you hear it not?

Their thorn is different than yours

Their chains are not the same

But they are mine, just a you are mine,

their hunger is your hunger

You are both redeemed: you both will not leave hungry

Breathe in at the table. Desired people.

{this was written after a lectio divina of Isaiah 55 on an Ignatian retreat.

the invitation is for everyone to come, come to the table}
